Breakfast this morning was a whole wheat toasted english muffin topped with white chocolate wonderful pb, 1/2 sliced banana, and Oikos blueberry greek yogurt with 1/2 sliced banana. Hot coffee on the side.
Breakfast this morning brought back so many childhood memories. I use to have french toast all of the time, but by no means was it healthy. This french toast on the other hand is super healthy and only ~310 calories with toppings. What are you waiting for? Make this cinnamon french toast now!
- 2 slices of sarah lee light whole wheat bread
- 1/3c egg whites
- 2T unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4t cinnamon
- 1/4t vanilla
- 2T sugar free maple syrup (topping)
- 1T white chocolate wonderful peanut butter (topping)
- 1/2 sliced banana (topping)
Mix together the egg whites, almond milk, cinnamon, and vanilla. Let the bread soak up the egg mixture and then put on a heated pan and cook until desired. Top with maple syrup, pb, and banana. Enjoy!
